Fabrizio Maso

After having founded and operated his architectural millwork business for 12 years and worked as a project manager in some of the largest cabinetmakers in Quebec, he created Idea Construction in 2016. With his rigorous, creative and environmentally conscious approach, he is determined to do residential renovation differently. He minimizes the ecological footprint of his projects with practices such as selective deconstruction, recycling and material revaluation, making him a true pioneer in the industry. Always on the lookout for the latest advances in construction science, he makes energy efficiency his hobbyhorse and obtains a certification from the Passive House Institute in 2024. Today, he is doing the first cold-cliamte EnerPHit renovation in Canada and is determined to teach his peers that high performance retrofit must become the new standard.
