Passive House Low Energy Building Certification is an internationally recognized building certification. Achieving the Low Energy Building designation can provide a project team with the experience and knowledge to obtain Passive House Classic and higher levels of certification in future projects. It can be a viable alternative to Passive House Classic certification where form factor, component supply, or authorities having jurisdiction impede reaching such levels of performance.
