Last month, Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) invited the public and industry to share their feedback on the proposed Canada Green Buildings Strategy. This vital Strategy, when finalized, will become the blueprint for federal action on climate change adaptation and mitigation in the building sector. Passive House Canada is supportive of the proposed strategy and has submitted recommendations on how to strengthen and effectively implement the strategy.

We invite you to read and share our recommendations in the attached report, “Operationalizing Ambitious Plans for the Building Sector.”

Consultations for industry have now closed. However, members of the public can submit feedback via a survey on the Canada Green Buildings page. The final Green Buildings Strategy is expected to be released spring 2023.
