Matthew Jarsky is a course instructor and practicing architect. In 2017, after twenty years of practice, he launched an eponymous architectural practice, Jarsky Architecture. The firm approaches architecture in a balanced and grounded way that merges pragmatism, a philosophy of timelessness, and a refined functional aesthetic.
Matthew has overseen the design of over $100M in projects across Canada, many of them military or industrial.
Since his training in Passive House, he has provided Passive House training to all of the firm’s technical staff, and incorporated Passive House design principles into much of the firm’s work.
Matthew is a Certified Passive House Designer with a Master of Architecture from the Dalhousie School of Architecture.
