Join us for a presentation, building tour and networking social.

Toronto has big plans: Net Zero buildings, more rental homes, and gentle density across neighborhoods. But here’s the catch—very few multiplex projects are actually doing the deep energy retrofits needed to get us there.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at a real project tackling exactly that. Peel Passive House has transformed a typical East York semi-detached house—one of thousands like it—into a 3-unit apartment built to the EnerPHit standard. This isn’t just a renovation; it’s a working model for how deep energy retrofits can be done in a way that’s both technically achievable and financially realistic.

On this tour, you’ll explore the strategies, challenges, and solutions up close—and walk away with practical insights into how existing homes across the city could be reimagined for a low-carbon future.

Speaker:

  • Andrew Peel – Peel Passive House
