We will describe the project and its development through the Toronto Community Housing leadership\, existing building design discovery process\, stakeholder engagement regimen + approvals\, design process\, and construction process. \nPresentation 2 – Designing Resilient Infrastructure for Municipal Operations\nSpeaker: Anna Dziurdzik\, Pretium Engineering Inc.\nThe York Region Southeast Operations Centre sets a precedent for applying Passive House principles to essential municipal infrastructure. Combining a large vehicle garage with an administrative office\, the project faced challenges uncommon in traditional Passive House applications—balancing diverse occupancy schedules\, garage set-point temperatures\, and air-tightness across overhead doors. \n\nThis event is free for Passive House Canada members.
