Project Description
Templeton project aims to deliver smaller, efficiently designed unit sizes to provide affordability across a mix of unit types.
To provide a high performance envelope for this Passive House development, an externally insulated wall system with a cementitious finish is used with a variety of stencils to provide a brick appearance to the principal elevations as well as a geometric pattern and a simple monolithic panel look to the lighter upper storeys.
This development is proposed to be built to the Passive House standard. Design elements included to achieve this are increased wall thickness, providing approximately R-39 R-Value, triple glazed thermally broken windows, Heat Recovery Ventilation (with units located in washroom and storage room ceilings) and Heat Pump hot water systems.
