Thomas specializes in Passive House, Net Zero, and advanced energy modeling. Thomas works on integrated teams of architects and engineers to design and construct exceptionally efficient buildings. Thomas brings a deep understanding of building envelope, HVAC, and domestic hot water systems to all projects. Thomas seeks to move projects towards decarbonization, electrification, and Net Zero Ready designs using the principles of Passive House. Thomas has 7 years of professional experience in the field of building science and energy efficient building design. His direct project experience includes large institutional projects such as the Passive House student dormitories designed for University of Toronto, and University of Southern Maine as well as extensive experience on numerous affordable multifamily residential projects.
