Home Front was started in 2002 by Brad Durant. The philosophy is to provide professional personalized home inspections. In 2012 Brad had rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) panels installed on his house and since then has been a rooftop solar PV advocate encouraging others to be involved in solar PV. Brad now provides civil engineering services including residential structural design and review. Brad’s kean interest in simple energy saving and sustainable energy has led him to become a Certified Passive House Designer/Consultant (2017). Brad has also become a Register Energy Advisor through NRCan and he is performing residential energy assessments. There are very few if any who have this thorough a background that perfectly fits the design of Passive House, Net Zero and Off Grid buildings.
