In a special collaboration, ZEBx – Zero Emissions Building Exchange and Passive House Canada present an exclusive in-person tour of the Narrows Project. Situated in the vibrant Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood—where the North Shore mountains, downtown Vancouver, and Burnaby converge—Narrows stands as a six-storey, wood-framed showpiece, housing 48 meticulously designed rental homes.
Developed by Steiner Properties, the Narrows embodies industrial design in an urban environment, drawing inspiration from the raw beauty of the Burrard Inlet. Cornerstone Architecture designed the landmark building to the Passive House Standard, paying close attention to energy uses outside the thermal envelope.
Join us for this project tour to learn from the architect and the developer as they discuss the benefits of passive house for the residents, the project stakeholders and their experience using Passive House design principles.
