Passive House Canada has partnered with Peel Passive House to create and deliver the New features of PHPP 10
In this PHPP v10 course, participants will receive information on the updates seen to the recent update from PHPP v9.6 to PHPP v10. Participants will learn through lecture and in-class exercises the main aspects of the PHPP software which have undergone changes with the latest version. This course will cover the fundamental changes and new features and functionality of the software and prepare participants for using v10 in their everyday practice.

Andrew Peel, Founder & Director, Peel Passive House Consulting
Andrew Peel is a renowned expert in the field of Passive House buildings. He is the founder of Peel Passive House Consulting, a consulting firm that specializes in designing and constructing high-performance, low-energy buildings. Chris Petit, Manager – Technical Services, Passive House Canada
Chris provides technical assistance to members of Passive House Canada and municipalities across Canada with the PHC Technical Services team. As a member of several standards committees, Chris collaborates to improve energy efficiency standards and help make high performance building the norm. Chris is a Passive House designer, tradesperson, trainer, and building certifier accredited by the Passive House Institute. He has provided design support and energy modeling services since 2008 with the Center for Sustainable Building Research, Clean Energy Coalition, Regenerative Design, and CertiPHIers Cooperative.
Prerequisites/required knowledge and equipment/software
- CPHD/C accreditation recommended
- Experience working with PHPP or completion of 3-day intro to PHPP course.
- Knowledge of Excel
- Familiarity with reading construction drawings
- Knowledge of PHPP v9.6 is recommended.
