Webinar description

This webinar series will focus on Canadian Projects all across the Country.

Our second stop will be in British Columbia.

In this second webinar, Lucio Picciano will present lessons learned his Lilac Passive House project located in Vancouver, BC

Lucio was born in northern BC, raised in Alberta and has lived in several countries since first entering university. He has studied architecture in Italy, Canada, Mexico and the USA and is fluent in 3 languages. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a professional degree in Architecture Lucio moved to the US for several years gaining valuable experience on varied projects in larger offices. In 2008 he established his own small practice in Vancouver BC where he has resided ever since, coupling his design practice with design-build and building envelope services. The completion of Casa Luca in 2015 in Vancouver was the first of 11 Passive House projects (certification in progress) either built or in progress. A new passive multi-residential building is currently under construction among 3 others in progress as of 2021. Lucio is particularly interested in the combination of form, the attainable urban typology, and the Passive House approach.

Please note that this is a live-only event and not will be recorded.
